DIY Cute Owl Valentine Card (With Free Printable Template)
We’re here with a fun and easy Valentine’s day card craft idea. Whether it’s Valentine’s day or any special occasion, you can craft this easy owl card to go with the gifts. You can craft this owl valentine card in no time with the help of our free printable owl template. Check out the tutorial.
The more color you use, the more beautiful the owl valentine card will be. Try to use different and bright coloured craft papers for the card. I personally love using Fall colours and different shades of pink.
How to Craft a Beautiful Owl Valentine Card:
List of Supplies
- Coloured craft papers
- Scissors
- Craft glue
- Sharpie
- Pencil
Printable Owl Template:
Download our printable Owl Pattern Template free and print it out. Cut out the patterns nicely.
Instructions:
Prepare the patterns
Select different coloured craft papers for each pattern. The patterns include card base, wings, beak, face, heart and dots. Use contrasting colours for the card base and wings.
Attach the wings
The right side of the card would be the front part of the card. Stick the 2 wing cutouts on both sides of the card’s bottom side. Stick the beak near the middle-bottom part of the face cutout.
Dots and heart
Stick the dot cutouts on the wings pattern and stick the heart cutout between the 2 wings.
Face and beak
Stick the face cutout on the top side of the card, above the wings.
Attach the eyes
Use a sharpie to draw the eyes above the beak. Or you can draw the eyes on small round cutouts and then stick them on the face.
Fold the base
When you’re done adding all the details to the owl pattern, fold the card base into half, keeping the owl pattern to the front.
