Muhaimina Faiz, an experienced and accredited artist, specializes in crafting and DIY, with an emphasis on Paper Crafts, Jewelry Making, and Crocheting. Additionally, she shares her expertise in diverse DIY sectors, including home decor and Recycled Crafts through her writing.
She began crafting at age 10, but her journey into professional writing and crafting took off when she became a featured writer on Instructables in 2012. She adores crafting and enjoys sharing her creative process with others.
Muhaimina’s journey includes roles as a maker and content writer for platforms like diyprojects.com, Guide Central, and Cut Out and Keep. She also showcased her skills as a jewelry designer at Shajghar, an online jewelry store, and presently manages her online shop, GinnaKabbo, dedicated to jewelry and handmade crafts.
In 2016, she created her own craft blog, Craftaholic Witch, with the tagline Imagine, Create, and Inspire. Through her website, she shares a new way of doing things that inspires more than 100,000 people every month.
Over the course of her 12-year journey, Muhaimina Faiz has published more than 500 articles on crafting, especially jewelry making, paper craft making, origami, and crocheting.
She has won numerous crafting contests organized by Instructables, including Instructables Jewelry Challenge 2013, 2019, 2020, and 2022, Earring Challenge, Neckless Challenge, Fall for Yarn challenges, and many more. In 2019, she won the first prize in the Instructable Robot content.
As an introverted person, Muhaimina Faiz always found peace in making things by hand, and that boosted her love for DIY projects. She decided to pursue a professional career in the DIY and crafting sector.
Muhaimina Faiz is also an entrepreneur and has co-founded Aralas Creative, a digital media and publication company in 2022. In her personal life, she is the mother of a sweet 5-year-old boy and a newborn baby girl.
