Step 1: Preparing the Template
Select colored craft papers for the craft. The template includes patterns for buntings, a flower, an egg, a carrot, and an egg. Select fun and bright colored craft papers. Trace the template patterns on the selected craft paper and cut out the patterns using scissors.
Step 2: Crafting the Egg
Take an egg base cutout and the small round cutouts. Apply a drop of glue on the egg bases on spots where you’d like to attach the round cutouts. Place the round paper cutouts on the glue drops (one round cutout on each drop of glue). Press the round paper cutouts against the glue drop firmly to make sure they’re attached neatly.
Step 3: Crafting the Flower
Take the flower cutout and make creases along the petals. Attach the small flower cutout to the center of the big flower cutout. Fold the leaf cutout in half, lengthwise, to get a crease.
Step 4: Crafting the Carrot
This is the easiest! Make creases along the leaf cutout of the carrot pattern. Attach the leaf cutout to the wise end of the carrot cutout.
Step 5: Crafting the Rabbit
Take the rabbit cutouts and attach the inner ear cutouts to the outer ear cutouts. Attach the ear patterns the top side of the head cutout. You can draw the face of the paper rabbit or you leave it as it is.
Step 6: Attaching Items to Bunting Cutouts
Craft 3-4 of each paper item and prepare enough paper buntings for the garland. Attach the papercraft items on the paper buntings for the garland.
Step 7: Preparing a String
Prepare a long strand of yarn or string for the garland. Using a longer string is better because you can adjust the length later.
Step 8: Attaching the Bunting to the String
Attach the straight edge of the paper buntings on the prepared yarn or string to make the garland. Use thick white glue for a neat and secure craft.
Step 9: Crafting the Garland
Craft another string of garland with variant colors. The more colors, the better! Allow the glue to dry completely before hanging the garland on a wall.
