How to Make a Colorful Gemstone Necklace

How to Make a Gemstone Necklace
Supplies:
- Natural gemstone beads
- Craft wire – 18 gauge
- Craft pliers
- Jewelry chain
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the gemstone beads and jewelry wire you want. Hold the wire from an end without cutting it from the bundle. Insert the gemstone beads into the wire. Stop beading when the beads’ length reach 7-8 cm.
Step 2
Use the looping pliers to make a loop at the open end of the wire. Cut the other end of the wire from the bundle but make sure to keep a small amount of wire to make another loop.
Step 3
Use the looping pliers to make another loop at the other end. Take a long piece of jewelry chain and cut it into half with the cutting pliers. You’ll need 2 jump rings to attach the 2 pieces of chains with the wired beads.
Step 4
Attach the wired gemstone beads with the chain through the jump rings on both sides. Attach a hook at the open ends of both chains for the closure and done!
Easy to make, colorful and pretty necklace ready in no time.
